Take Action
Tell the Government you support a strong price on carbon pollution. Once you've written your letter, send it to your friends suggesting that they might like to do the same. For every person who makes the effort to write a letter, we know there are many more who share the same point of view but haven't gotten around to it yet - so let's try to improve those numbers a bit!
Take action online. Beat the Bills - Join the campaign to triple Victoria's Energy Efficiency Target, Sign up to Yarra Climate Action Now's Carbon Price Statement, or join the campaign to stop the construction of a new coal-fired power station in the Latrobe Valley.
Call talkback radio and put a different view to those that usually dominate. You don't need to be an expert - just an ordinary citizen who genuinely wants real action on climate change
Volunteer to help the Darebin Greens Climate Campaign. Over the next two months we'll be doing as much letterboxing, signage, door-knocking and street stalls as we have the people and funds for.
